While my partner in crime may celebrate the year of 2016 and the upcoming 2017 year… I will celebrate our birthdays in the month of April!! Happy birthday to us and this crazy thing that we have started. I may not update this as often as Emer but i like that she updates and maintains her status.

Games played with Wife: Child of Light, Deadlight
GAMES FINISHED: ummm….
Wait, why do you have a “games played with Wife” subtitle up there? Well, believe it or not, i somehow managed to convinced my wife to have a game night with me! We started with Child of Light and it started off well, with the very artistic look but my wife grew very tired of the in and out of storyline and gameplay. We quickly grew bored of the game and switched over to Deadlight, where we stayed for the rest of the night. ZOMBIES!!!! Great hit with the wife…haha!
I had my doubts about Deadlight until we 
really started to dive into it. It’s a simple side scroller game where the world is full of Zombies. Everything is Dark and you need to avoid the zombies by jumping on cars or jumping from roof to roof. When things go wrong, the game wastes no time pumping the adrenaline in your body. There were so many moments where i could see my wife panic before it turned into a full on shriek of terror…knowing full well, IT’S JUST A GAME. After 4 cut-scenes, we knew we picked the right game to play for the night.
The past month, I’ve had a really hard itch to play a sim city type game. One of the games that meets that criteria that is on my “to do” list is: Banished. I’ve put about 16 hours into the game and I’ve found out that you need to take things veeeeery slowly for things to be successful. I also found out that Tornado’s SUCK! Once you do recover from the disaster, your economy that used to be stable becomes unstable because of the amount of people that have changed in your village… building your town requires a careful balance between food and keeping your town warm during the winters. The major killers are starvation and freezing to death…Hopefully I have enough time to stream my next play through.
That’s about all the update i can muster at this point… The games that are on the horizon:
